I missed my friend's birthday, so I made her a card today that said, "I feel so dog gone bad I missed your birthday.....But I hope it was PAWS-atively wonderful!  She used to have a small dog like this one, so I painted it for her. 

Finally finished the football painting I promised Lucas and Beckett.  That will be added to the baseball and basketball paintings for the wall in their rooms.  I made cards of all these paintings.  Might make a nice sports set.

Very excited.  Received the Artist of the Month from Art League North today.  First time I've really shared a painting at a group.  I brought my Birdsnest painting.

I painted these for my grandson's Lucas and Beckett's room.  I'm working on a football too, as they play all three sports, but it proved to be more difficult.  That canvas is currently white again.  Try, try again, Terry

"Poppy Field"  16 x 20  Acrylic on canvas  It must have taken me 3 different attempts, all months apart, to get this one just right.  Finally added the blue, and it was just what it needed.  SOLD

"Hayfield"  This is another painting I did in class with Jennifer Bowman  16 x 20 on canvas.  This one hangs on the wall at my father's home.

Phia's Chickadee"  I painted this a few days ago.  Not long after I finished it my 2 year old granddaughter stopped by for a visit.  I showed it to her and she carried it around the rest of the day.  However she was confused by the vertical layout and insisted on holding it horizontally with the twig on the bottom of the page.  5.5 x 5.5 on paper.

"Pink Flowers in a Vase"  I had a very different painting envisioned when I started.  It didn't work out, so I went a different direction.  When I stopped painting (knowing when to stop is the hardest part!) I looked at it and thought, "Lisa will like this."  Sure enough.  It went home with her.  Prints and cards available.
